We are moving from Virginia to Georgia as you read this post.
There's nothing like a big change to make you want to change other parts of your life.... or your hair!

As I watched the Academy Awards this past Sunday night (or let's be honest: I mainly was taking in the fashion trends), I couldn't help but notice the world had turned red. Not just Michelle Williams' gown, but most of the stars' hair had some shade of red in it. Whether it was strawberry blonde, warm caramel, or classic Lucille Ball red, I found myself contemplating if I could work a little red into my life. Pulling strands of my hair between my fingers, I wondered if I could pull it off.
Now I know you're not supposed to go and chop off your hair when something else big in your life changes (a break-up, having a baby, moving, losing a job, getting a job, etc), but I am tempted to spice up my life with a little red.
Do you ever feel that way? You just want to add a little "spice"? You want to feel vibrant and fresh?
I may or may not die my hair. Maybe I'll opt for a fabulous pair of red heels instead. Regardless, I am glad the Lord breathes his vibrance and his refreshing into my life... every... single... day. I want to truly own this today.
"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."
Zephaniah 3:17
